A team of six Ƶ business, engineering and computer science majors took first place in the 2010 “Innovation Encounter”—an inventive problem solving competition hosted by Lawrence Tech University. Ƶ competed with five other colleges and universities in developing a new idea for a smart phone application to interface with vehicle systems.
“I finally felt like I understood the reason why Ƶ is a liberal arts school,” said senior business major Megan Odegaard of the collaboration among disciplines.
