Protect Life - Understanding Abortion Victim Photography

  • Mon, Nov 09, 2026
  • 4:00 pm–5:00 pm

Have you ever wondered why some activists use graphic images to draw attention to an issue, and how to respond when people push back on it? Join us this week as we look at the use of Abortion Victim Photography (AVP) and the history behind it. You’ll explore how making hidden injustice visible has played a role in movements like the fight against slavery, child labor, and the story of Emmett Till, why this imagery is used and what it’s meant to communicate, and how to respond to common objections in a clear, calm way. You’ll also have space to practice explaining it, so you can walk away with more confidence discussing a controversial topic and practical language for the conversations you’re likely to have. Bring a friend! Everyone’s welcome!
